Félix (Sami Bouajila) lives in Dieppe with his lover Daniel (Pierre-Loup Rajot). He has just lost his job that could demoralize him as it would disrupt his HIV medication but on the contrary, Felix still has a joyful enthusiasm. Whilst browsing the documents of his deceased mother, he found a letter from the father he has never known. His father who is an Arab immigrant lives in Marseilles so he decides to meet him. But instead of taking the train as Daniel suggested, he chose to take time and enjoy his journey singing and dancing on the roadside. As he takes his journey, he meets friendly people who are worthy to be part of his ideal family. His made-up characters of his younger brother Jules (Charly Sergue), his grandmother Mathilde Firmin (Patachou), his sister Isabelle (Ariane Ascaride), his railroader cousin (Philippe Garziano), and his fisherman father are truculently and endearingly engaging...

DRÔLE DE FÉLIX (ADVENTURES OF FELIX, internationally) is a graceful and humourous adventure that is full of tenderness, happiness and friendliness... all shared without restraint. The positive attitude of Félix is what the film is all about. It is an offer from France that will surely entertain you.
