The concert organizer thought that he won't make it but he did. August Rush is introduced as an exceptional and gifted child. He starts conducting his piece and suddenly Lyla stopped and gazed back on stage and instantly felt so much hope. Louis on the other hand, races to the park when he sees Evan's pseudonym along with Lyla's name on a street ad billing the concert. And at its conclusion, he turns around to see Lyla and Louis standing hand in hand, and he finally makes the connection that they're his parents.
