Si Iliac (Coco Martin) ay isang binatilyong Capampangan na lumuwas sa Kamaynilaan upang makahanap ng ikabubuhay ng kaniyang pamilya sa probinsiya. Naging isa siyang masahista sa isang lugar sa Maynila na kung saan ang mga mapupusok na kalalakihan ay nagtutungo upang masilbihan ng kanilang kawpa lalaki. Dito niya nakilala si Alfredo (Allan Paule), isang nobelista sa larangan ng romansa at madali silang nagkahulugan ng loob at nagkakuwentuhan tungkol sa kanilang mga buhay-buhay. Nabanggit ni Iliac na pabalik siya sa Pampanga dahil ang kaniyang ama’y namatay matapos na nakaratay ng matagal.
Iliac (Coco Martin) is a young guy from Pampanga who has moved to Manila for greener pasture. He now works in a gay massage house in Manila in order to earn a living. His job as a masseur includes catering to the whims of his clients, which often include sexual favours. Iliac meets Alfredo (Allan Paule), a romance novelist who happens to be his first customer. They each share a little of their stories and we soon find out that Iliac must return home to prepare for his father’s funeral who has died after a long illness.
MASAHISTA, the MASSEUR in English, is a moving story of Iliac -- serving the bodies of different men in a manner to please them to earn money in return for which part of it is to serve his father's needs to prolong his life and another part for his family to survive. It clearly shows the pains of people born without fortune... how they are betrayed by circumstances... how they sacrifice their principles so they could live. This Indie film from the Philippines has won recognition in several international festivals.
